Charlie Gruet has worked as a Director of Photography in Los Angeles, Washington DC, New York, and abroad, for over a decade.  Charlie’s work has brought him to all corners of the globe:  braving the elements at -40 on an icy lake in Fairbanks, Alaska; navigating the mysterious, winding waterways of the Niger Delta; capturing the emotionally heart-wrenching images of children scavenging atop a trash heap in Pnom Penh, Cambodia.  His experience as a shooter in commercials and documentaries has created a unique, visual style that blends eye-catching imagery with intimate and emotional content.
